Our membership rates are highly competitive and tailored to your career stage. All NACE memberships are individual. Dues include National and one (1) or two (2) local Chapter memberships, except for Corporate members, who receive access to three (3) secondary chapters at no extra cost. To Renew Your Membership

If you are a current NACE member and you need to renew, or your membership has recently expired, please log in to renew your membership. Do not create a new membership application from this page.

To Transfer Membership

While NACE membership belongs to the individual, if the membership is paid by a company, the company may transfer the remaining time on the membership from one employee to another as a courtesy. The employee who is replaced also keeps their remaining membership time or 90 days, whichever is greater. The new member will be assigned a new member ID and the same value of time. This offer is applicable to professional and corporate memberships only. Only one transfer is allowed each year. Contact membership@nace.net to start your transfer request.

Professional Member

This membership is for individuals only

Professional Members are individuals currently employed, self-employed, or supplying to the catering, event or hospitality industries. Professors and teachers of accredited, college-level courses relating to the catering, special events, and hospitality industries may also join. Dues include the national organization, one home / primary chapter and up to one secondary chapter membership.

Non-Profit Member

This membership is for individuals only

Non-Profit membership is available to individual catering and event professionals who are employed by certain non-profit organizations. To qualify the non-profit employer must be an IRS recognized 501(c)3, 501(c)4, 501(c)5 or 501(c)6 organization. Applicants will be required to provide proof of the employer's non-profit status. Dues include the national organization, one home / primary chapter and up to one secondary chapter membership.

Young Professional Member

This membership is for individuals only

Young Professional membership is available to individual catering and event professionals who are 18-26 years of age who are employed or self-employed in the industry. Applicants will be required to provide a driver's license or passport for age verification purposes. Dues include the national organization, one home / primary chapter and up to one secondary chapter membership.

Educator

This membership is for individuals only

Educator Membership is open to individuals whose primary employment is as a classroom educator in secondary or post-secondary academic programs in catering or events and who meet one of the following requirements: (1) currently teaching at least two classes per semester' (2) have taught at least four classes in the past academic year. Not eligible: academic administrators and non-educator personnel including catering and event professionals employed by the educational institution's internal catering and event business units or departments.

Student membership is available to individuals enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in an accredited college or university hospitality undergraduate program. Applicants must provide proof of current enrollment during the application and renewal process. Dues include the national organization, one home / primary chapter and up to one secondary chapter membership.

Corporate Member

This membership is for individuals only

This membership category is available to catering and event professionals who are employed by businesses with three or more NACE members at the same business address. There must be three or more members at the company at all times. Annual Individual Corporate Membership Dues: $315; $945 annually for three required memberships. Dues include the national organization, one home / primary chapter and up to three secondary chapter membership.Membership applications in this category require eligibility check and approval.

NEW Professional Plus Package

The Professional Plus Package allows eligible small businesses to purchase two (2) memberships for employees at one discounted price. It is available only to small businesses with fewer than twenty (20) full-time employees. It is a package of two (2) individual full Professional memberships and is not a company membership. For three (3) or more members at a company see Corporate Membership. This membership requires a special application, contact membership@nace.net. Annual Membership Dues: $585.

Legacy Membership

Legacy Membership allows dedicated NACE members to receive a special dues rate and recognition for years of membership and dedication to the catering and events profession. To be eligible, members must be a current member in good standing for a minimum of 15 years and must be 60 years of age or older. This membership requires a special application, contact membership@nace.net. Applicants must provide proof of age (driver's license or passport) during the application process. Annual Membership Dues: $220.

Retired Membership

Retired Membership is for long-time NACE members who are fully retired and wish to continue to show their dedication and alliance with NACE. To receive this rate, you must be fully retired (receiving no income from full time, part time or occasional work or consulting), must be a member for a minimum of 15 years and a current Legacy Member. Annual dues are $55. This membership requires a special application, contact membership@nace.net. Annual Membership Dues: $55.
